News over the Rainbow

This week I finished and blocked the white lace shawl, and guess what, I named it too: Sheer Bliss. Unfortunately I did not like the final look, so I frogged the border and decided to re-knit with a different concept. I am happy to say that it now looks just as nice as I wanted it, so testing of the pattern should begin soon. I will keep you posted. I also started a new project, a shawl which even beginner lace knitters will be able to make comfortably. It will feature a simple body with a lovely lace border. I am knitting it with the most beautiful colour of Wollmeise Pure: Oohm.

In the meantime I have another test for all those who are interested: this is a variation of a pattern that had previously been published in a magazine: Tourlaville. After testing this variation will be published by me. This is a simple brioche pattern, ideal for all who love brioche or those who want to learn this technique. I am planning to make a video tutorial too.

Spinning had to take a back seat this week but hopefully I can show you some progress photos soon. The test of Victoria has finished, I can’t wait for the release: planned for 10 May.

I would like to thank all of you who took part in my Birthday promotion, it went great!
